Saucony manufactures high-performance running footwear and apparel designed to give runners the tools they need to perform at their best.
Saucony was founded in 1898 by four young businessmen (William A. Donmoyer, Thomas S. Levan, Walter C. C. Snyder and Benjamin F. Reider) in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, one year after the first Boston Marathon and two years after the first modern-day Olympics.
Over the years, they’ve become advocates for runners and strive to be a force of good in the running community and beyond.
You can pick up Saucony shoes in a local running store or via their online store. You can also read about running news, tips and advice on their blog.

The word Saucony (Sock – Uh – Knee) comes from the Lenni Lenape Native American word “saconk,” which means “where two rivers run together.”
The logo represents a running river marked by three boulders. Inspiration for the logo came from the original location on the Saucony Creek.
